Oil before and after every use, not just when they sound dry. A thin film protects the contact points far more than an occasional heavy dose.
Brush out hair and product build-up after each client — packed debris is one of the most common causes of early blade wear.
Store them dry. Damp cases are the single biggest cause of the corrosion we see when clippers come in for a service.
