How to know when your clippers need servicing
4 min read
If your clippers are pulling instead of cutting, that's usually the first sign — a dull or misaligned blade drags hair rather than slicing it cleanly.
Overheating during a session is another. Blades that run hot even with regular oiling often have worn contact points that need realigning by hand.
If you're pressing harder than you used to just to get the same result, don't wait for them to stop working altogether. A full service catches wear before it becomes a replacement.
